SIRIVANNAVARI SS25 Paris Fashion Week

Sirivannavari unveiled SS25 Collection during Paris Fashion Week: A Renaissance Reverie

In her third presentation at Paris Fashion Week, Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, founder and creative director of the eponymous brand Sirivannavari, brought an artistic and historical flourish to the iconic Hôtel de Crillon. The Spring/Summer 2025 collection, inspired by the grandeur and timeless beauty of the Renaissance era, offered a masterful fusion of high fashion and classical art. The collection paid homage to some of the most iconic figures of the Renaissance, with designs reflecting the artistry of Michelangelo Buonarroti’s life-size marble sculptures and Botticelli’s ethereal Birth of Venus.

The pieces resonated with the sublime elegance of Renaissance art, capturing sinuous curves, bold graphic lines, and a play with transparency. Each garment served as a reflection of the duality inherent in human nature—fragility intertwined with strength. Guests were treated to an immersive, divine atmosphere where the lines between fashion and art blurred effortlessly, drawing them into the designer's world of beauty, history, and craftsmanship.

The collection effortlessly shifted from daytime elegance to nighttime glamour, with a spectrum of versatile pieces. For the day, Sirivannavari presented an array of chic ensembles such as see-through trench coats, the standout IRIS jacket, and sharp, tailored jumpsuits. These looks spoke to the designer’s emphasis on both beauty and practicality, with jewel-like fasteners, brooches, and belt buckles not only serving as decorative elements but functioning seamlessly to secure wrap skirts and jackets.

As day transitioned into night, the collection evolved into a luxurious offering of leisure-chic beachwear, boasting halterneck tops, cut-out details in soft neutral tones, and high-cut gowns that draped the body in a strikingly sensual yet refined manner. Each look was carefully curated to embody Sirivannavari’s vision of the modern woman—feminine, sexy, but with an undeniable sense of empowerment.

Princess Sirivannavari’s expertise in balancing the ultra-feminine with bold, empowering elements shone throughout the presentation. Many ensembles were crafted from delicate, airy fabrics such as organza and chiffon, which evoked the rippling movement of the sea. These fluid fabrics were carefully paired with contrasting materials like cotton, lace, and leather, emphasizing the Renaissance theme’s inherent contrast between strength and softness.

Finally, the ready-to-wear principles extend to bijoux collection. Inspired by an artist’s studio, the Spring/Summer 2025 jewelry incorporates off-white ceramic, reminiscent of unfinished and broken sculptures, adding rich texture. Hands, central to the design, wrap around earrings, necklaces, and heart pieces, embodying fragility, strength, sensitivity and assertiveness as a tribute to feminine’s nature complexity. A variety of stones in different forms, sizes, and colors explore the art of decomposition, drawing inspiration from sculpture and allowing the jewelry to seamlessly embrace the body’s contours. These designs reinterpret the designer’s quote: “Love equals Dangerousness”.
