Shiatzy Chen Spring/Summer 2025: The symphony of the Brush
One more time, Shiatzy Chen presented “Ready to wear” collection at Palais de Tokyo. It was the perfect scenario for the giant brush stood at the center of the runway, symbolizing the rhythmic flow of Chinese culture and the profound significance of the writing brush in shaping not just literature, but the very essence of creativity and imagination. For Shiatzy Chen, the brush was not merely a tool of writing but the beginning of boundless possibilities, a representation of authentic expression.
In this collection, the designer embedded the pen-like iris into the designs, with each garment subtly echoing the silhouette of a writing brush. These pieces reflected the beauty and fluidity of calligraphy, witnessing infinite possibilities bloom from the inspiring nib, like ink dancing across a blank canvas.
