SAINT LAURENT by Anthony Vaccarello SS 2025 Paris Fashion Week

Anthony Vaccarello’s Saint Laurent Femme Été 2025 collection strikes a bold balance between elegance and rebellion—a celebration of the complex, independent woman who refuses to be defined by a single narrative. With a nod to Yves Saint Laurent’s timeless vision, Vaccarello reinterprets the maison’s legacy through a modern, fearless lens.

The collection opens with a strong, masculine energy, pulling inspiration from Yves’ personal wardrobe. Fluid suits, bomber jackets, and sharp blazers layer together to create an effortless yet commanding silhouette. These aren’t pieces designed to fade into the background—they demand attention. Vaccarello’s take on tailoring exudes a quiet power, transforming classic menswear into a declaration of independence and confidence.

Then, the collection pivots. The second half introduces vibrant, colorful looks, infused with the spirit of the artists who inspired Yves himself. There’s an undeniable sensuality here, with rich textures and bold hues bringing a sense of unapologetic femininity to the forefront. The juxtaposition between masculine and feminine is a powerful reminder of the multifaceted nature of the Saint Laurent woman—strong, sensual, and never one-dimensional.

In a particularly thoughtful touch, each silhouette is named after one of the women who have embodied the essence of Saint Laurent through the years. These icons—chosen for their individuality and strength—serve as reminders that the Saint Laurent woman isn’t a monolith. She’s a living, evolving symbol of independence and allure, as unique as the women who wear the clothes.

The setting for the show, in the courtyard of Rue de Bellechasse, was equally striking. A sleek, dark structure contrasted with a glowing golden frieze, while a circular opening to the night sky created a sense of mystery and allure. The blue floor—a subtle nod to Yves’ beloved Marrakech gardens—added a rich layer of depth and connection to the brand’s roots.

With Femme Été 2025, Vaccarello has crafted a collection that feels both timeless and utterly of the moment. He honors the maison’s history while pushing it forward, celebrating a woman who embraces her complexity with confidence and grace. This is Saint Laurent at its best—where sophistication meets seduction, and the future feels wide open.
