Guy Laroche SS20 RTW
The renowned French Fashion House dating back to 1967 pays tribute to an era of freedom of expressing yourself. Referencing Madame Claude and the women and men she would encourage to do as they please on the streets.
The show took place in the notorious Place Vendome on a cloudy day in the City of lights. As we entered the room with attendees including celebrities such as Eva Longoria, Alicia Aylies and Miss France 2010 Malika Menard, music was already playing in the background. A soothing classical tune from famous pianist Yaron Herman. Giving us the impression that we’re on the luxurious Avenue Montaigne.
Creative Director Richard René embraces the iconic logo of the Maison on garments such as majestic long dresses immersing with the hundreds of Guy Laroche emblems.
We witness a perfect blend between chic and sensual cuts on Jumpsuits and blazers giving additional exposure to skin. Make-up included voluptuous smoky eyes adding more to the provocative look.
Tones included brilliant white, stunning amber brown, jet black and marine blue to reference the Spring Summer season’s collection.
Over-sized blazers, vests in suede, classic denim jeans, coats in covered in 500 francs all-over, cinched in fluide dresses paired with sunglassses and handbags.
The Guy Laroche Spring/Summer look illustrates sensuous sophistication.
