Christophe Josse Couture AW 19/20

Christophe Josse’s autumn-winter 19/20 collection lit up the salon “France Ameriques” at the hotel Le Marois with a refined and elevated spirit. Dominated by pearl, ivory, and with rye colors, the feminine and clean lines of every look made the collection elude timelessness.

The show opened boldly with a double-breasted jacket along with a peasant skirt highlighted with hardanger embroidery. A woolen maxi-dress with an embroidered waistline also grabbed our attention as one of the most interesting looks.

The collection translated idyllic romanticism into modern simplicity; preserving the former’s remnants of high fashion craftsmanship and elegance that is often lost in common ready-to-wear fashion.
